Congratulations to all on our 3rd place finish at Technique Relays! Congratulations are also in order for Churchland Trailblazers - 1st and Track Express - 2nd. Thanks to all the parents, coaches, Hampton University associates and community volunteers who attended and who worked to make Technique Relays a success!
As a result of the efforts evaluated at Technique Relays and the need for our athletes to be exposed to teams they will see at the AAU Junior Olympics, the coaching staff has decided that ALL Technique athletes are invited to compete in the Track Express Relays to be held on May 22. Please be prepared to travel to Springdale, Maryland. If you know, in advance, that you are unable to travel with your athlete or that your athlete is unable to attend Track Express Relays, please sign up for the Suffolk Stars Meet to be held at Lakeland High School on the same day.
The caravan to Springdale, MD will leave BJ's parking lot at 4:00AM on the morning of May 22. Please pick up your directions at practice.
The following issues must be corrected IMMEDIATELY:
>DO NOT DROP YOUR ATHLETES OFF AND LEAVE THE PREMISES. If you are sending your athlete by another adult, ensure that adult does not leave the premise until another adult arrives to relieve them.
>DO NOT allow your athletes to roam around at track meets.
>Ensure your athlete wears their warm up at all times unless directed otherwise by the coaching staff (this encourages your athlete to follow rules and to prevent injuries)

Top 8 finishers in each category will advance to the AAU Junior Olympics.
Tri City Relays - May 29 & 30, 2010. This meet is in Winston-Salem, NC and requires and overnight stay. Hotel information and travel directions are forthcoming.
